Jess is a rough coated red/white female with a very 'foxy' look. She is a sweet tempered and athletic dog with a great natural balance and calm working style. She earned Jr. Herd Dog after only a week of training, and a very inexperienced handler.
Jess has many fine working stockdogs in her line. I am slowly learning more about them-here is what I've found so far. On her sire's side, Speck is a very good working farm dog, and is son of Orville Maxwell's Chip who won many open and novice trials and placed #19 in the National Nursery trials.
His Grandsire is Ralph Pulfer's Dan, the is a Grandson of ## Bill.
Chip's Dam is Imp. Patch has won several open trials; she is a Granddaughter of # BWLCH Taff.
Smith's Dusk is also and open trial winner and Granddaughter of ## Wiston Cap.
Coggin's Dusk is a Granddaughter of ## Craig and ## BosCoon.

Jack owned by Orville Maxwell and is the Grandson of Newton's Ted, and Great Grandson of Ralph Pulfer's Hall of Fame Shep, which won the National Championship in '89, 92, and '93.. I am looking for more information on his line. Click on the link below to see his pedigree.

Miki is a nice young dog co-owed by Orville Maxwell and Connie Repkee. He is a very friendly and quiet dog, who has a strong desire to work and please. He is trialing this year. Orville is very excited about this dog.
He is the Great grandson of Maxwell's Chip, Bill Berhow's Nick, Lewis Pulfer's Spot, and many other fine dogs!!
